«Человек на все времена» Роберта Болта – один из величайших и самых пронзительных исторических спектаклей возвращается на сцену этой осенью.
В роли сэра Томаса Мора — выдающийся британский актёр Мартин Шоу (Судья Джон Дид, Инспектор Джордж Джентли, Профессионалы). Мора почитают за ум, честность и преданность своим принципам — он учёный, дипломат, лорд-канцлер и близкий друг короля Генриха VIII. Но когда монарх требует развода с Екатериной Арагонской, Томас оказывается перед мучительным выбором между верностью короне и собственной совестью.
Постановку осуществил Джонатан Чёрч, чьи спектакли на фестивале в Чичестере и в Вест-Энде завоевали признание критиков. Ранее он уже работал с Мартином Шоу над «Хобсонским выбором». В актёрский состав также входят Эдвард Беннетт, Николас Дэй, Калум Финлай, Орландо Джеймс, Хари Канг, Асиф Хан, Энни Кингснорт, Сэм Паркс, Сэм Филлипс и Луиза Секстон.
